You Go Mom!!

Seems this local mom has had too much of her daughters disrespect and attitude. After various other attempts at discpline did not work she resorted to shaming her. She had her daughter sit out with a poster listing her various "crimes". It says in the article that the punishment didn't work to well until the media showed up. Lol, nothing like a little unwanted publicity to make a teenager shape up. Many people may frown upon this type of discpline. I guess they are thinknig that this is normal teenage behaviour or something. This girl was not hurt, abused or neglected, the mom just wants her to change her ways before the girl makes some huge mistake that cannot be fixed. You do what you have to do to try and raise your children and teach them consequences of their behaviour.

I'm such a slacker

I'm trying to get and keep this blog going but I keep slacking off. In my defense I am a busy woman. Between kids visiting their grandparents, turning in their end of the year grades and just trying to keep the house clean, my sister visiting and a million other things, sometimes smaller things get lost in the shuffle. But anyway. Things are going ok, I'm hoping to start looking for a part time job next month...actually I know the one I want to get I just gotta hope I get it. It would be perfect if I say so myself. Until then I 'm trying to think/ look for little ways to make money on the side. It'll all work out in the end, I think everyone and their uncle is hurting for money right now.

Ok so I don't know why I am here. I thought to post something, but really have nothing to post about. I guess I could post a bunch of nonsense to waste space. Nah, I think I'll come back later when I have thought about something more I could talk about.

Happy Mother's Day

I think I'll wish a happy mother's day to those who made me a mother. Happy Mother's Day to each of the four wild ones. Thank you all four for the lessons in humility, patience, love, and more that you teach me each day. Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful husband, because yea,of course with out your help I would not of gotten pregnant and gave birth to our lil darlin's. Lastley, Happy mother's day to my in-laws, because with out you my hubby would of not been created and I would not be celebrating my 10th mothers day.
Well if I wanted to get real technical I could of gone on further then that but then it gets too boring so I think I'll stop there. The headache I woke up with and still have has not gone away enough to think that much anyway.

Also I wish a Happy Mother's day to all other mothers and mothers-to-be out there. Bb

I'm here..

I changed my name, lol. Instead of "Rnby30" I'm now KatcvAyo (Creek, Katcv=Tiger, Ayo=Hawk, two of my favorite animals...well that and Tiger is my maiden name and I'm half Creek Indian) I combined the two words to make one of my own and I like it so I'm gonna stick with it.
I know I've not posted on here in a long, long, long, long time. Don't know why really. I guess I just went off looked at different blog formats and lost interest in this one. Now that I'm losing interest in those I'm looking at this one to see if I like it better or what. I like the template I found though, its pretty. Maybe I'll mess around with this blog use it a bit more and see if I grow to like it again.
So what's everyone out there in internetland doing for Mother's Day weekend? Me, probably nuttin'. Hotwire (my hubby...I like the way everyone uses nicknames instead of real names so I'm going to implement that practice on here) has to work out-of-town tonight, tomorrow and may not be back till Sunday night. I'm hoping for late tomorrow night but I guess I'll just deal with it if he's not home till Sunday. He says he's going to take me and the kids out to a nice dinner for Mother's Day, even if its Monday or later when we go. It'll be nice I suppose. I'm just wondering how much of a "gift" its going to be taking all four of the wild ones out to a restaurant. This is not something we do. I've taken them all out ,by myself, to McDonalds or places like that (thank goodness for playlands, lol) but those cater to kids and don't mind them running around like the hooligans they are. Oh well this will be a nice treat and I'm sure the wild ones will do just fine as long as we don't linger too long. I know in stores they have about a 30-45 minute limit before they become totally bored and start becoming very annoying and starting trouble. Which works because if I'm in a store much longer then that I end up spending too much anyway.
**edit**I just had to add, I really like the way it looks when I changed comments to Thoughts and Opinions Welcom and it says " 0Thoughts and Opinions Welcome". Ok I'm just weird and think its funny.
