I'm trying to grow good habits. Mostly in my spiritual and physical areas. I'm wanting this blog to be my own personal journal of this growth and will share what I'm doing to do better for myself and others. There will be ramblings, 'cause that's what I do.

Kristin's Miracle House
I saw this news story about this teenager with cancer who's Make-a-Wish wish was to build a house for AIDS orphans in Africa. I just thought this was awesome and would post it on here. Here's the link if you want to read her story or learn how to donate to Kristin's Miracle House.http://www.faithwest.org/features/KristinElliott.html

I saw your post and your right, Kristin's story is awesome. Her Miracle House is being built in Zambia by Family Legacy Missions International. Check out more info on them at www.legacymissions.org
Hey Guys! about this kristen thing, I was kind of confused about it,so i've got it all figured out now. I researched it and made some phone calls to find out where do I give the donation. I found out that you really need to go to www.leagacymissions.org to make a donation.
I agree with Lea. You really need to go to www.leagacymissions.org to donate. Trust me.
Hi all thank you for reading my little post. The page that I put the link in the blog entry does have an address for donating to Kristin's house or your more then welcome to donate to Legacy missions though that will go to the mission not just Kristin's house from what I gather. Anyway anyone is willing to help a fellow human being is fine with me though.
Jackie - I was in Zambia with Kristen, her mother and her sister last summer. She is truly an inspiration and has such a heart for the Lord and His children in Zambia. I also sit on the board of Family Legacy Missions and can attest to the miraculous transformation in both the Zambians to whom we are ministering and the Americans who are doing the ministering. But, in both cases, it is He who is leading the charge - we're along for the ride and it is exhilerating!
